We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and dedicated medical supervisor to join our growing team and lead our strategic plans to expand in the medical pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will join a highly reputable pharmaceutical company and will represent an international partner in the Libyan market. The candidate will advise and strategize an executable plan to introduce and grow the pharmaceutical product in the Libyan healthcare industry. The successful candidate will support and communicate the expansion plans and handle a local team to represent the international brand on behalf of the company. This will include marketing, communication, and establishing key target goals for promoting and selling the pharmaceutical products.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s pharmaceutical partner and the company’s products
- Organising appointments and meetings with community- and hospital-based healthcare staff
- Identifying and establishing new business
- Negotiating contracts
- Demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses and pharmacists
- Researching competitor medications and their respective market performances.
- Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies.
- Determining both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals
- Maintaining detailed records of research and developed strategy including target goals, progress, etc.
- Attending and organising trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Managing budgets and reviewing sales performance
- Analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated
- Writing reports and other documents
Educations & Knowledge:
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare market
- Ability to lead and communicate to a team
- Familiarity with strategizing sales tactics for pharmaceutical products
Experience & Skills:
- At least 3 – 5 years’ proven experience in medical sales in Libya
- Valid Libyan driver's license
- Strong negotiation skills
